The temple is located in District Cibuaya Cibuaya, Karawang regency, not far from the location of Temple Batujaya. The ruins of the temple in this Cibuaya AntiquitiesDepartment was first identified in 1952, including the form of two 'Unur' (mound of dirtin between rice fields).
At first both the ruins of ancient buildings that are considered Dutch fortress ruins, but the opinion was changed after the Vishnu statue found near the site. Five years later(1957) found two Vishnu statues. Statues are currently being stored at the NationalMuseum in Jakarta as the Statue Vishnu Statue Vishnu I and II.
In 1975, when the National Institute of Antiquities and Heritage conduct researchexcavation, Vishnu statue found Cibuaya III. Until now, the ruins of two temples calledLana Temple and the Temple Wadon still can not be reconstructed.
