Site Batujaya a temple complex which occupies an area of 40 ha, covering twovillages, namely Segaran and Telagajaya in District Batujaya, Karawang regency.From the city of Karachi, the temple complex is brejarak 39 kilometers to the west ofKarachi, about 6 km from the coastline north.
Today, the temple complex is Batujaya rice fields and settlements. Most of the ancientbuildings in these locations are still buried in the 'Unur' or 'weak duwur' (ground landpoking among the paddies). Until the mid-2004, the excavation and research oncomplex enshrinement in Batujaya still ongoing under the supervision of the research team from the University of Indonesia Batujaya Site.
So far this has not been established when and by whom Batujaya temples were built,because the data has been obtained about the ancient site is very small.
